The People of Jordan

John Jordan likes to call the winery an “artists’ colony” where artists come together to practice their respective crafts. Between winemaking, viticulture, hospitality, culinary, gardening and administration, many artists use Jordan Estate as their canvas. John also likes to call us the extended Jordan family. Meet some of the artists behind our wine, food and farm.

PROPRIETOR

John Jordan

John Jordan has served as chief executive officer since 2005. He acts as general manager, working closely with every department on day-to-day operations.

WINEMAKER

Maggie Kruse

Maggie Kruse joined Jordan as enologist in 2006, and after promotions to assistant winemaker and associate winemaker over a decade, she was named head winemaker in 2019.

Chef Jesse Mallgren elevates the Jordan culinary and hospitality experience to new heights, leveraging his impressive 25 years of experience.

Brent Young

Brent Young manages the entire ranch at Jordan Estate, from vineyard management and gardening to caring for farm animals and protecting watersheds. He wears more hats than a milliner.

Dana Grande works closely with our grape growers and winemaker, ensuring grapes are grown to our quality standards.
