Taste history in Houston this June as we unveil our 40th anniversary vintage, the 2016 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon.
Hosted by Jordan Winemaker Maggie Kruse and Brenner’s Executive Chef Ryan Braden, the evening will feature a cocktail-reception-style party with passed hors d’oeuvres and gourmet food stations—all paired with Jordan wines. This is your opportunity to taste the 2016 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon—the 40th anniversary wine of our inaugural 1976—in 750mL, as well as the 2014 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon in magnum, the 2018 Jordan Chardonnay and the renowned 18-liter 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Melchior. Tastes of the special bottling of non-vintage brut Champagne, Jordan Cuvée by Champagne AR Lenoble, will also be poured. Chef Braden will prepare an array of passed hors d’oeuvres, from Ahi Tuna Tartare, Wild Mushroom Crostinis, Boursin Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes and Mini Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes to Cilantro Chicken Rillettes, Pork Belly Skewers and gourmet Grilled Cheese. Food stations will feature charcuterie, cheese and dessert.
Situated in a wooded retreat on Houston’s Buffalo Bayou near Memorial Park, Brenner’s Blue Bar—which was voted Houston’s Top 10 Patios from Rest of the Best—offers a luxurious setting for this cocktail-style reception filled with wine, food and fabulous views.
Ticket price includes all food, wine, gratuity and valet. Tickets will be available until sold out.
