Jordan Vineyard & Winery has expanded its sales team and reorganized sales territories throughout the United States. As of July 1, the Jordan sales division will be broken into four geographical territories under recently appointed National Sales Director Brad Butcher.
Gabe Urrutia joined Jordan in June as Regional Sales Director, Southern U.S. Urrutia brings more than 10 years of hospitality experience to this newly created position. Previously at Beam Suntory and Bacardi USA, he has conducted more than 100 training sessions for bartenders and trade professionals, while drawing on his creativity and knowledge to consult on wine and spirit programs throughout Florida. Based in Miami, his territory includes Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, West Virginia and Virginia.
This month, Jonathan Whitehead joins Jordan as Regional Sales Director for the Central U.S. territory. Whitehead brings more than 10 years of experience in wine distribution and sales to the newly created position. He most recently worked for Huneeus Vintners. Whitehead expects to complete his WSET Level 4 Diploma in 2017 and plans to continue his wine education. Based in Austin, his territory includes Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri.
Ashley Cesario, who joined Jordan in 2013, remains Regional Sales Director, Eastern U.S. Based in Boston, her restructured territory includes Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and District of Columbia. She continues to manage Jordan’s Eastern Canada sales as well.
With Jordan since 2015, Nick Holmes continues his role as Regional Sales Director of the Western U.S. His existing territory, which includes California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Alaska, and Hawaii, has been expanded with the addition of Nevada and Arizona. Holmes is based in Southern California.
Most recently Central Regional Sales Director for Jordan, Brad Butcher was promoted to the position of National Sales Director in May 2016. He brings more than 20 years of experience in on-premise hospitality, wine distribution and sales experience to Jordan’s top sales position. Based in Chicago, he will oversee Jordan’s Regional Sales Directors, all export business (including cruise lines and duty free), as well as the sales department staff at the winery.
Working closely with the sales team, Bethany Greish (pictured above, third from left) was recently promoted to Sales Coordinator, and Claire Smith (pictured above, far right) was promoted to Wine Educator. Both are based at the winery in Healdsburg.
