Nearly 200 guests turned out recently at the Jordan Big Bottle Pardi at The Thompson Hotel’s rooftop in Nashville, co-hosted by Jordan Winery’s owner John Jordan and award-winning country music singer/songwriter/producer Jon Pardi. Part of Jordan Winery’s 50th anniversary celebration, the event featured food and wine pairing stations by guest chefs, a festive parade of giant wine bottles carried by the Big Bottle Squad, the debut of a limited-edition Pardi Batch Spirits bourbon finished in Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, live music and a silent auction of 10 wine- and music-themed lots, which helped generate close to $140,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee.

L.A. Jackson at the Thompson rooftop was transformed into an epicurean playground for this exclusive Jon Pardi event, where guests sampled an array of Jordan wines, each exquisitely paired with an hors d’oeuvre by local chefs: Kate Sigal of The Marsh House, Deb Paquette of etch and etc., Christa Tayeb of L.A. Jackson and Hannah Young of Adele’s.

The four guest chefs, along with Summer Pardi, were ring leaders for the Big Bottle Squad, who paraded in the biggest wine bottles of the party to Pardi’s “Dirt On My Boots” and “When I’ve Been Drinkin’.” Big Bottle Squad members included:

  • Jon Pardi, multi-platinum award-winning (CMA, ACM) singer/songwriter/producer
  • John Jordan, who shares his 50th birthday with the winery
  • Jordan Davis, multi-platinum, chart-topping singer/songwriter
  • Tennessee Titans Head Coach Mike Vrabel, 2021 NFL Head Coach of the Year
  • Seven-Time Pro Bowl Defensive Lineman Cam Jordan of the New Orleans Saints
  • Jordan Winemaker Maggie Kruse, a two-time “40 Under 40” award winner
  • Singer-songwriter Julia Cole, named one of the 2022 Country Music Television’s “Next Women of Country”

The Squad joined forces to heft an 18-liter bottle of 2018 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon, 6 liters of 2012 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon and 3-liter bottles of the celebrated 2006, 2008 and 2009 vintages before the grand uncorking at the rooftop’s outdoor bar. Squad members received a limited-edition Jordan 50th anniversary Baccarat crystal decanter as a memento.

Partygoers were the first to sample the new Pardi Batch Spirits 112 Bourbon Colbert Reserve, finished in Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon’s prized French oak barrels and released to raise additional funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. The Pardi Batch Colbert Reserve will be available at stores in Tennessee and online at Seelbachs for $79.99. Only 500 cases were produced. Launched in fall of 2021, Pardi Batch is inspired by the country star Jon Pardi’s music and energetic live performances. Learn more at pardibatchspirits.com.

“It was such a pleasure resting Pardi Batch 112 Bourbon in Jordan Winery’s Colbert wine barrels to create a spectacular tasting, limited-release bourbon,” said Alton Climer, co-founder of Buffalo Chip Spirits, which produces Pardi Batch Spirits. “We are honored to give back to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee with every purchase of the Pardi Batch 112 Colbert Reserve.”

The evening concluded with an intimate, solo performance by Jon Pardi, who played hits including, “Last Night Lonely,” “Heartache Medication,” “Head Over Boots” and “Dirt On My Boots.”

“We are big fans of Jordan Wine at home, and it was an honor to partner with John Jordan and Jordan Winery to bring together an amazing night of food, music, wine, and celebration to raise money for the Boys & Girls Clubs,” Jon Pardi said.

Throughout the event, a silent auction took place online, which raised nearly $40,000. Top lots included a trip for six to Jordan Winery, which generated more than $11,000, and a tasting for 12 in a private home with Jordan’s winemaker, which garnered more than $8,000.

“We are incredibly grateful to Jordan Winery, John Jordan and the Foundation, and Jon Pardi for involving Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee in this momentous occasion,” said Jennifer Wheeler Buhrman, chief development officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. “It’s a Jon Pardi event we’ll not soon forget, and the impact will last a lifetime as we ensure young people reach their full potential.”

The John Jordan Foundation, Jordan Winery’s philanthropic arm, made a $100,000 investment in advance of event production, allowing the nonprofit to generate close to $140,000.  For more than 119 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee has enabled all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
