The moderate growing season and a harvest heatwave resulted in a 2003 Jordan Russian River Chardonnay with great balance and finesse.
Ideal spring weather provided optimal fertilization of our Russian River Valley Chardonnay, yielding a very even crop. Cool, moderate weather prevailed through much of the growing season. As harvest approached, a warming trend elevated sugar levels. The window for picking was very small, creating a sense of urgency in the vineyard. Our entire crop of Russian River Chardonnay was harvested in just 10 days.
Aromas of citrus, crisp green apple, kiwi, honey and lightly toasted oak are followed by lively and complex flavors of pear, Fuji apple, quince and limestone balanced with a subtle oak framework.Download Tasting Notes
