Tasting Notes

Enticing aromas of black plum and currant in the glass open to flavors of tobacco, milk chocolate and vanilla. Soft, round tannins and structured acidity create a velvety texture on the mid-palate, transitioning into a long and memorable finish. Decant and enjoy immediately or allow to breathe for an hour. Graceful bottle aging has enhanced this balanced and approachable Cabernet Sauvignon worthy of cellaring through 2021 in 750mL bottles and 2028 in 1.5L magnum bottles, as well as 3L through 2033 and 6L through 2038.

Jordan Estate and family growers


The vineyard blocks were harvested and fermented separately, spending 12–21 days in tank depending on the particular character of the site. Malolactic fermentation occurred before the lots were re-tasted to determine which exuded the sensory characteristics to merit inclusion in our barrel blend lots.


A combination of top French and American oak coopers


Aged for 12 months in two-thirds French oak and one-third American oak barrels, of which 33% were new, before two years of bottle age.
