1991 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon

more vintages

Considered a classic vintage due to the growing conditions, 1991 Jordan Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was crafted exclusively from our original estate vineyards.

Like all excellent vintages, 1991 was a year that displayed no weather extremes. A late harvest gave us great depth of fruit and complex tannins in our Alexander Valley estate vineyards.

Tasting Notes

The 1991 Jordan Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon still offers notes of dried herbs, cassis and plum, with supple tannins and moderate acidity. Drink the 750mL and 1.5L now, as they are just past peak maturity. The 3L and 6L should also be opened now but will hold for a couple more years.

Last Tasted: June 1, 2012
