"Jordan has always hewed to a discrete style of cabernet—a style that was a natural match for the cool 2011 vintage. This is quiet and supple, garnet-red rather than purple, with aromas of rose and tobacco leaf lasting in a long, bright line of flavor. It’s an elegant cabernet to decant now for duck breast or age for another five years or more." Wine & Spirits, 92 Points
Pretty aromas of cranberry and red cherry mingle with enticing notes of nutmeg, fennel and cocoa powder. The wine is smooth and refined with elegant flavors of red cherries laced in coconut and toasted oak notes from American oak barrel aging. Layers of cherries wrapped in fine tannin linger on the long finish. Enjoy now or cellar worthy through 2027 for 750mL, 2031 for 1.5L and 2036 for 3L. Decanting optional.
