Tasting Notes

Still showing ample dark fruit for a Bordeaux-style wine of this age. Intriguing aromas of baking spice, brandied cherries, black currants, dried herbs, cedar and tobacco. A lovely backbone of acidity is still very present, framing the palate’s soft flavors of dark plum and red cherries, laced with mature, smooth tannins. Dried cherries and a hint of dried herbs carry through the medium finish. No decanting necessary. Enjoy 750mL bottles by 2021, the 1.5L by 2022, the 3L by 2030 and the 6L by 2035.
