Explore Jordan’s vast 1,200-acre estate with a unique hiking adventure hosted in Sonoma County this spring. Your guided journey begins in Bacchus Courtyard where you’ll taste estate breakfast bites prepared by Executive Chef Jesse Mallgren and depart by foot on the three-mile hike on Jordan’s private trail, which begins and ends at the winery and traverses hills and valleys with an elevation change of about 500 feet. This hike passes through the chef’s garden and apiary, meadows, sustainably farmed vineyards and Jordan’s olive orchards. During the moderately strenuous hike, you’ll learn about Jordan’s pollinator sanctuary plantings—open space that has been dedicated to creating habitat for vital pollinators, including the endangered Western monarch butterfly. Guests will then be seated at private tables on the Jordan Terrace for a light wine pairing lunch, featuring local ingredients, estate garden vegetables and a seasonal dessert. Your pairing will include the current release Jordan Russian River Chardonnay and Jordan Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Hikes are also available on Saturday, April 25.
