Jordan

2002 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2002 vintage marks a return to Alexander Valley as the primary appellation for Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2009, we find this wine just hitting its stride with flavors of cassis, black cherry, cedar and leather with deeply concentrated layers of rich, round tannins. Drink now with 1 to 1.5 hours of decanting or hold until its peak around 2017. Hold the 1.5L until 2025.

– Tasting note written on June 3, 2009.
