Jordan

1976 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon

For over 20 years, the 1976 vintage (our first) demonstrated a rare combination of drinkability and longevity. This wine still holds merit, but the memory of its greatness is more alive than the wine itself. Toffee, dried cherry, dried herbs, fennel, tobacco and cedar aroma remain. Mouthwatering acidity and silky smooth texture volatilize quickly. We would call this wine intriguing, but like an aging athlete, it’s a bit slow out of the blocks.
