Estate Server
Jordan Winery, an iconic producer of French-inspired wines in Sonoma County, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. While we don’t have a typical tasting room, responsibilities include exceeding hospitality standards to provide guests with an unforgettable experience. The Estate Server will work closely with the event team and take their guidance to achieve high quality service standards as described in our service operating procedures.

This position is on-call, part-time and based at the winery in Healdsburg, California.
Summary
We host a variety of consumer, trade and media experiences and events at the winery. Events and experiences can range from large events to private dinners to multi-course tasting menu experiences. We provide noteworthy hospitality to our guests from the moment they arrive at the Chateau. Our primary goal is to create memorable experiences for our guests for years to come.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Attend the daily pre-shift meeting to learn any important event details and service flow, and attend any other scheduled staff meetings
- Complete all assigned pre-shift side duties in a timely manner
- Serve food in a composed, elegant approach according to Jordan
- Must have explicit knowledge of the menu for the event
- Participate and ensure compliance with all opening and closing duties as needed
- Monitor and observe guests’ dining experiences
- Keep the chefs and managers informed of any issues that might affect quality or timing of service
- Support Guest Service Associates in exceeding guests’ expectations
Estate Server Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least two years as server, captain, or sommelier is preferred
- Food, Wine and Spirits knowledge is a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for multiple hours
- Open availability including weekends is ideal
- Strong desire to contribute and elevate service and hospitality standards
- Attention to detail is a must especially during a fast-paced service
- Positive outlook and forward-thinking mentality
- Excited to provide guests with a premier high-luxury experience
- A willingness to learn and grow
- Able to communicate verbally in an articulate manner
- A valid California Food Handler certificate must be completed before the shift begins
- A valid Responsible Beverage Serving (RBS) certificate must be completed before the shift begins
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have reliable transportation to work
