Wine lives and breathes and, like all living things, is altered by time. At Jordan, we believe that the right moment for enjoyment is guided by individual preferences and the range of expression fine wines take on over the years.
Everyone’s preference is different. Some love the bold, ripe fruit character of a younger Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon within five years of the vintage date, while others enjoy the nuances of older wines, whose bright fruit is transformed with time into more subtle, layered aromas and flavors of tea, leather, spice and cedar. Older wines also develop long, rich, silky textures on the palate.
Whichever you prefer, each vintage of Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted in a balanced style—delightfully drinkable in its youth and over time, as well. To ensure optimal enjoyment upon release, Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon is aged a year longer prior to release than most California Cabernets.
