1998 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
Particular to the 1998 growing season was the protracted fertilization of the grape clusters due to the long, cool, wet spring. Quality requires sacrifice – already facing a small crop, we dropped additional clusters to achieve a crop of uniform maturity. This wine displays good acid and flavors of cherry and vanilla. The 750mL is at peak, while the 1.5L should peak around 2012. The 3L and 6L will continue to mature through 2014 or later.
