Jordan

1988 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon

This was another hot year. Fruit matured late, but by waiting for the cherry, blackberry, and cassis flavors to reach their peak, we also saw optimum tannin levels. By 2009 the tannins have faded, but caramel, cherry, cedar and vanilla still appear on the nose. The 750mL is past its prime. For larger formats, drink now.
