Jordan

1977 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon

With considerably less Merlot in the blend, the 1977 was a much broader, more muscular wine that grew refined with cellaring. Though our 3L Double Magnum or 6L Imperial are still sure to please, in 2009 we consider the 750mL past its prime. “Tannins are still lively, with smooth and well-knit structure but the fruit aroma is more like an aged port.” –Rob Davis
