The Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon has gained a remarkable reputation as a wine possessing a great balance of fruit, body and bouquet. Each year approximately 10% Merlot is included in the blend and this, coupled with the use of both American and French small cooperage, adds to the charm and softness of Jordan Cabernet. The 1978 is the first estate bottled wine of Jordan and is an example of a beautifully rounded wine with great femininity, but a rich complexity too. The wine is delightful to drink now, but will reward keeping in the months and years ahead.
