Every vintage of Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted with a focus on striking a perfect balance between beautiful fruit, silky tannins and a lingering finish. It is this delicate balance—all done by taste—that allows for the gradual, graceful evolution of Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon in bottle.
The Jordan family maintains one of the most comprehensive cellars of library vintages in California. Vintages dating back to 1977, bottled in various sizes, are available in very limited quantities.

2009 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
This vintage is a dream come true for Winemaker Rob Davis, combining both an excellent growing season and our new direction with fruit sourcing. 2008 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
To make a wine of greatness, the vintner must accept losses in both grapes and wine due to strict quality standards similar to the very best crus in Bordeaux. Two significant frosts in spring of 2008 affected grapevine growth, lowering grape cluster yields as much as 20% per vine. A wine that captures the heart of Jordan's style—balance, elegance and full expression of fruit—Jordan 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon has a smooth, silky structure that showcases the delicacy of the vintage. 2007 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2007 growing season made this vintage a winemaker's dream. A smaller crop yielded more concentrated flavors in the grapes, and moderate temperatures allowed the fruit to mature slowly and beautifully. A seamless wine, the 2007 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon exudes beautiful, dense, blackberry aromas that echo through the mid-palate. The mouthfeel is silky-smooth with soft, round tannins accented by a vanilla quality from aging one year in primarily French oak barrels. Enjoyable now or worthy of cellaring through 2020.

2005 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
With concentrated aromas of cassis, cherry, cedar, rose petal and tobacco, this complex wine exhibits blackberry and blueberry flavors with a hint of vanilla from oak aging. 2005 was a vintage that showed well immediately upon its release in 2009, but it is meant for the cellar. 2001 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
With one of our earliest harvests on record, this vintage produced fruit especially noted for its small berries and loose clusters. Showing flavors of both bing and black cherry, leather and cedar. It carries an elegant backbone of tannins leading to a rich, smooth finish. The 750mL should peak by 2015, the 1.5L by 2022, the 3L by 2030, and the 6L by 2035.

2000 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
The addition of fruit from our hillside vineyards contributed to the well-integrated aromatics, depth of flavor, and round mid-palate feel of our 2000 vintage. It delivers lovely fruit characters with bright acids and balance. A little shy on the palate but still showing a lot of complexity with intriguing white pepper, flowers and herb notes. Lingering cherry and dusty strawberry fruit dance on the palate. The 2000 is silky, elegant and delicious. Drink the 750mL and 1.5L now through 2015. The 3L and 6L will continue to mature through 2030 and well beyond.

1999 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
The 1999 vintage marks the first harvest of our hillside vineyards. Grapes from these higher elevations produce complex flavors, lower yields, and enhanced structure for aging. More than a decade later, this silky wine reveals seamless black cherry, cedar and vanilla flavors with supple tannins. Drink 750mL bottles now or hold up to 2014 for peak maturity. 1.5L may be enjoyed now through 2020, 3L through 2026 and 6L through 2035.

1998 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
Particular to the 1998 growing season was the protracted fertilization of the grape clusters due to the long, cool, wet spring. Quality requires sacrifice – already facing a small crop, we dropped additional clusters to achieve a crop of uniform maturity. Classy, restrained and elegant with aromas and flavors of pure red raspberry and cassis underlain by an elegant acid backbone and a complex potpourri of herbs, spice and dried cherry fruit. This is a multi-dimensional wine with mature aromas and flavors. The 750mL is at peak, while the 1.5L will peak in 2013. The 3L and 6L will continue to mature through 2030 and well beyond.
